Christmas Time

Christmas is a time to be together,
Gather around and share your pleasure.
It’s not just about the presents you get,
Your new toy truck or your baby doll set.
It’s not just about Santa Claus either you know,
His jolly old self and his ho, ho, ho!

Christmas is a time to be together,
Gather around and share your pleasure.
It’s a time to celebrate the one above,
To share your hearts and give your love.
We’ve got decorations like Christmas trees,
Little bells and sparkling wreaths.

Christmas is a time to be together,
Gather around and share your pleasure.
Christmas time is lots of fun,
There’s magic in it for everyone!
There’s always someone special to give to on Christmas day,
If you don’t get something back, I’m sure that it’s okay!

Christmas is a time to be together,
Gather around and share your pleasure.
You could sit around a fire with your entire family,
And drink some hot cocoa while you’re merry and jolly!
Christmas is a time of happiness – a time to give to one another,
While you give thanks to the lord and give love to each other!  

 

The Treasure Within

No matter what situation you’re possibly in,
Always look for the treasure within.
Let’s say there’s a test,
But you haven’t studied,
Always look for the treasure within.

Just try really hard although it may be tiring,
What you achieve may be truly inspiring.

To find it, it may take days or weeks,
Although it’s not easy to find or seek.
But please don’t go looking on any lost island,
It may be right here or in your mind where it’s silent.

What I’m trying to say is make the best of what you’ve got,
Hopefully you’ve learned something or maybe not.

I hope this poem has taught you a lesson,
to use when you’re scared or in a depression.

No matter what situation you’re possibly in,
Always look for the treasure within.
