T’is the pumpkin season!! If you are looking for places to get the best pumpkin, here are a few choices around Toronto:

Here are some pumpkin patches and farms to visit near Toronto.

Albion Orchards

This Caledon apple farm and country market sells hundreds of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes. In addition to pumpkin picking, you can spend your visit picking apples from their orchard.

Brooks Farms

Located north of Toronto, this Mount Albert farm will be doing this a bit different this year. They’ll still allow you to pick your own pumpkins but they will be having limited admissions. Tickets are available at the farm on a first come, first serve basis.

Andrew’s Scenic Acres

This Milton farm comes with wagon rides and a field where everyone can select their favourite pumpkin from a tiny five pounds to a massive 80 pounds. They’re open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the last entry for picking at 3:30 p.m.

Downey’s Farm Market

It’s all about fall fun at this Inglewood farm. They’re open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plus, their annual Pumpkinfest is back for 2021. Book your tickets to the farm in advance. 

Forsythe Family Farms

When October rolls around it’s vegetable-picking time at this Uxbridge farm.  Pick pumpkins alongside squash and tomatoes Tuesday to Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. You don’t need to book a reservation to pick in advance. It’s first come, first pick.

Reesor’s Farm Market

Find this farm in Markham sporting hundreds of pumpkins to choose from in all sizes. Pick your own pumpkins and their corn maze is open all October. The farm will require reservations for Thursday, Friday and Saturday visits. Monday through Wednesday do not.

Hutchinson Farm

Located in Burlington this farm has it all. There are classic jack-o-lantern pumpkins of all sizes and shapes to pick, a pumpkin museum to explore and Atlantic Giant pumpkins weighing up to 300 pounds to gawk at. 

Dixie Orchards

This Caledon farm’s apple orchards, hazelnut groves and pumpkin patches are accessible with an admission fee of $3 per person. Pumpkin patches are ready to go but make sure to reserve a time before visiting. 

Stonehaven Farms

Pick your pumpkin season typically runs until late October on weekends including Thanksgiving Monday at this Campbellville farm. Tickets can be purchased in advance.

Murphy’s Farm Market
