In Canada, there are more than 800 wild species of bees. This diverse and fascinating group of insects play an important role in the pollination of native plants and food crops, including strawberries, blueberries and tomatoes. Join Toronto Botanical Garden for a fun and informative session including games and a presentation, and leave with a better understanding of wild bees and what you can do to protect them. Ages 6-10. The event takes place at the Don Mills Public Library (888 Lawrence Avenue East, Toronto) April 13 from 2 pm to 3:13 pm.
