More and more people seem to be setting their pets free..not really free but more leaving them at the sides of roads, in parks or tied up outside a shop with no plans to return.

Seniors are finding it harder and harder to care for their fur babies and those pets become malnourished or forgotten. An elderly client of ours knew that she could no longer physically care for her beloved pup and told me about this rescue for dogs called Speaking of Dogs Rescue. She said they are amazing, loving humans that rescue, foster, vet and find furever homes for dogs. It is a registered Canadian charity operated by superhero volunteers. Please share this information so we can educate people on the welfare of dogs and help prevent cruelty and suffering among dogs. If you know of any animal shelters/rescues, please post in the comments so we can make a list of safe places for pet surrender but also for the possibility that someone out there may adopt one of these fantastic animals. Another friend recommended Team Cat Rescue. They take in the cats most other rescues will not. Complicated medical cases, senior cats and the shy ones who need time to learn to trust. They are always looking for fosters as well as they are a foster based rescue, fostering literally saves lives.

Thank you!
