As we face an unprecedented time Globally, and right here at home, it is important to our team that we continue to maintain our exceptional service levels and help you navigate the market.

We know that both Buyers and Sellers will have many questions and concerns due to the uncertainty. We are extremely lucky that there has been a Global response to deal this situation. Real Estate has always been an asset that needs to be viewed in the long term. Although in the short term there may be a slow down in the economy, the fundamentals have not changed. Our great city will continue to grow, interest rates are going lower and the economy will return to growth over time and real estate values will rise.

Over the past week we have seen multiple bids as well as areas that have slowed down slightly in the higher price points. This will likely continue until we have more certainty around a resolution to the virus. It is important to note that in China infections are declining and Apple Stores have reopened thanks to their proactive response to Covid-19.

As the situation with Covid-19 evolves we are closely monitoring advice and guidance from all levels of Government and Health Authorities. During this challenging time it is our primary focus to keep everyone safe and healthy while still providing service to you. Based upon the feedback and guidance from the Health Authorities we have developed a plan and policies of best practices for our work environment to help ensure that you remain safe. We will assess these practices daily to ensure they are in line with recommendations.

It is important to understand that this virus is highly contagious. That being said for the majority of the population it is not causing severe illness. If you have pre existing health conditions, compromised health or are over the age of 65 it can effect your health more severely. In most cases it feels like a bad cold/cough and fever that ultimately goes away.

I believe with the help of technology and a proactive approach, we can and will continue to be able to provide services to you through this challenging time. Let’s ensure we wash hands regularly, use appropriate protocol as recommended by the Health Authorities and work together as a team.

We are here to help you through this challenge together. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me directly at anytime.
